If you are interested in becoming a new patient of Dr. Ferril, please consider
the following before making an appointment.
Dr. Ferril would be pleased to have you as a new patient. However, you may
find it more convenient and more affordable to obtain Dr. Ferril’s treatment
plan for your condition and make a copy of his treatment plan to give to
your local provider for health care.
Dr. Ferril does not accept insurance or file any insurance forms.
Dr. Ferril does not handle emergencies. Dr. Ferril works with patients on a
second opinion or consultation basis, by appointment only, and does not
function as the patient’s primary care physician.
You should carefully read over and study the treatment plan for your
condition before making an appointment with Dr. Ferril. This makes the
initial consultation dramatically more productive for you.
You will likely be asked by Dr. Ferril to take a blood test for food allergy
antibodies and/or a 24-hour urine test for hormone metabolites, billed at Dr.
Ferril’s actual wholesale cost of about $350 and $400, respectively, and paid
directly to the particular laboratory that processes the test. The 24-hour
urine test is generally covered by Medicare.
The first consultation should be 30 minutes with monthly followup
consultations of 15 minutes each until you are satisfied that you are getting
well. Thereafter, there should be an annual consultation of 15 minutes so Dr.
Ferril can remind you why you are getting well and to encourage you on your
road to health.
You should be willing, if recommended by Dr. Ferril, to make significant
dietary changes and to take an active role in improving your health. You
should do your homework assignments.
Appointments are paid in advance and require a 24-hour cancellation notice.
Prior to making an appointment, please complete a
Patient Intake Form.
Once this is completed, you may make
an online appointment at your convenience.
